Would you be interested in a new (American) football skills competition?

Question

I'd like to know what is the record for maximum distance covered by a person who (1) throws a football and then catches it before it strikes the ground; (2) punts a football and catches it before it strikes the ground.  This might seem really crazy at first, but I think it is an interesting challenge.  Comments, please?

im unlucky im so small because im really good at throwing the ball and ive good leg and arm strength. so i just play rugby plus i live in scotland which we love nfl but cant all move to america. im 5ft 2in and 8st 1lb so im quite big and only 14. so i can dream :L
