Every time I post an answer in Yahoo! Answers, why do I get?
this annoying window that says "An update about your answer will be shared outside of Answers."
I keep clicking the box that says "Don't show this message again on Yahoo!Answers" and it keeps popping up over and over.
What can I do to get rid of it?

it is not a glitch , it is an alert put out in the worst manner possible..
to stop it go to your Answers profile - green tab upper right of page edit my info - scroll down to updates - click manage my updates & select do not share my updates - Preview the page & OK. It will stop*
Knowledge is power. A Mind is a terrible thing to waste. The imagination can also create great works of art as well as works of satire. Yahoo could put up a section for works of satire next to The Joke Section. Others uses for the mind could involve making work places more comfotable and suggestions and answers on how to do so. Chairs which attach to counters so cashiers can occaisonally rest their feet and take a break and alternate between chair and a standing position.

Besides annoying you, if you added anyone as a contact they get a message too. Every time you post an answer. I don't know what the turn-it-off options are for them, probably all or nothing given the way Yahoo manages their profiles. :-(
Twitter is ithe current model for internet services unfortunately. I wonder if they'll ever remember that the beauty of the net is that it doesn't have to be one size fits all.
Hey Jon, I just noticed this today! In view of the recent litigation that has transpired with another website, I think everyone else is getting on board so they are not found to be in another class-action lawsuit.
I have my options set not to show me the message again in my "My Profile" page and I still get the annoying window. It is a glitch for some and not for others it seems.
