Mario All Stars SNES?

My brother is 13 and he is into retro nintendo games. He has a NES and we are geting him a SNES for christmas. He wanted Super Mario all stars with Super Mario world but those are a lot more expensive than buying the two games separately on ebay. It there anything extra that comes with super mario all stars plus Super Mario world or would he be satisfied with both games seperatly?
