how can I display a warning message to the monitor screen?

I have PC's programmed to shut down every day at 10pm - using task scheduler to call Brutus shutdown. I need to display a warning message at say 9.55 that will show on screen even if a game or such is running.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi John You might be able to do it through the screensaver. start +>controlpanel=> display => screensaver=> marquee=> settings and write your message. You should be able to set the time somehow but I can't remember off hand. I hope this helps,all the best.Rab
