is manny pacquiao a cheater? your take on the subject?
ok ive heard so many differ views on the subject.... lets just lay out the fact and keep it simple people... first off iam a manny fan and a floyd hater...cant stand floyd BUT i will admit now that ive heard more details on this subject maybe floyd has point... i love manny but if he is a cheater i will no longer support him... i do not support cheaters.. heres my take and feel free to correct me if im wrong... fact: okay so manny says he doesn't want the random blood testing, his reasons are because he is afraid of needles, its against his ritual or something like that... and it could weaken him....
my view: that's complete bullshit! he has tattoos...thought he deathly afraid of needles..... makes no sense.... its a ritual or something??? look this is pro boxing put your damn beliefs or whatever aside and do your damn job, itll weak in him? he bleeds during the fights!!! cmn now...its only a little blood drop, its not like there gonna take out a lot lol.... wtf is manny talking about!!!!! and plus theyll do the same thing to floyd...i dont get it??????
now ppl who defend manny are saying... well.. he says he doessent wanna get weakend, and there should be a cut off date... hell ALSO give another blood test right after the fight!!! sounds good right??? not... and im gonna tell you why... there are pro steriod users who know how to cheat the test.... in that 30 day cut off that manny wants, he could use roids and get pumped up....ppl roids can be outta your system faster then u think...then when it comes the fight, theyll be outta his system after he got pumped up... so therefore the test after the fight would be irelvient in finding if he used roids.... NOW some of you may be saying...well but you just stated the roids may be outta his system on fight night...well true! BUT ive heard ppl say that thats when ir helps u more!!!! ppl need to understand thease facts... so the way manny wants the tests done he could still be useing people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i hate floyd but i cant blaime him.... i love manny but i think he has somthing to hide simple as that...and manny really let me down by not accepting this... PLZ PLZ PLZ read my facts and be open minded... and leave your feed back...maybe my facts are wrong.... maybe you dont agree LET ME KNOW...but as far as my understanding goes after telling you what i know mannys way could still give him time to bulk up then have them outta his system come fight night...see what im saying???? coment back plz!!!

I can see where you're coming from. I'm a Pacquiao fan myself but it doesn't mean I don't look at the possibilities.
I can actually counter what you're saying by stating the introduction NanotrapTM ESP particles which detects PEDs in urine, the fact that Olympic style test never caught any athlete using HGH, HGH is not beneficial to lower weights because they lose speed, EPO can be detected through urine according to WADA, HGH needs anabolic steroids to work which can be easily detected through urine, Floyd uses xylocaine which isn't banned in Nevada, the Filipino culture, Manny is being singled out, Floyd is the one who started this, why didn't Floyd ask this to other fighters yada yada yada yada....... Facts can be countered, both sides showed hypocrisy.
The truth is we don't know the truth, am I not correct? Look at this, Pacquiao wanted a 24 day cutoff and Mayweather wanted a 14 day cuttoff. If they really wanted to fight, somebody should have said why not meet in the middle and make it a 19 day cutoff? See in the end it was just a battle of power and who gains an advantage. This is boxing politics.
I like Mayweather's idea regarding random blood test but I just didn't like how he started it. He should have asked all commissions to do random drug tests on all fighters. Then we will know everybody is clean without discriminating one fighter. The random drug test should be approved by doctors all over the country, not just USADA. This should erase their problems.
Right now, I still believe Manny is clean because he is innocent until proven guilty. I prefer to live in reality, I don't live in speculations. They're are only boxers, they're not my idols so I don't believe everything they say. I like to judge boxers on how they fight and who they fight so I'll be looking at their choice of opponents to see who's being a sissy. I think all boxers throughout history are judged by how they fight and who they fight, so I suggest you do the same. Don't believe the media, they only add drama.
I think Freddie Roach and a more western style system of training and diet is the biggest difference. If you look at his old fights, he's really just a scraper with a lot of speed, power, and energy. With Roach his technique caught up with his talent and he's able to do this, I don't think people accussing him are putting too much into it, other guys in history were able to do the same thing. Maybe Manny is taking steroids, it don't matter though, until it's proven you got to just let things go.
You are free to think that it's complete bullshit, however you have to understand that athletes develop certain superstitions to prepare themselves before a fight. Manny believes that since he had his blood drawn close to the Morales fight and lost, he has mentally associated it with losing. He'll be in the toughest fight in his career against Floyd Jr., and while, in reality, 14 days may be enough time to physically recover from getting your blood drawn, him not being mentally prepared for the fight is just as unacceptable to Pacquiao. Athletes are a superstitious bunch.
Seems to me ur just a fraud nuthugger? How come you didnt mention pac agreed to unlimited urine tests, blood test around news conference time, blood test 24 days b4 fight and blood test right after the fight. btw im a fraud fan and pac hater...
Freddie Roach: I have no problem with the testing whatsoever. They can do whatever (Keyword: Whatever) kind of drug testing that they want.
December 14:
Alex Ariza: I am the one in charge, I am the one responsible for what Manny takes. He has no idea what he takes.
December 22:
Early today Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, was contacted by Top Rank President Todd duBoef, who informed Schaefer that Pacquiao would not agree to have his blood taken within 30-days of the bout based on the fighter’s superstition of testing so close to a fight.
Richard Schaefer: Todd told me that Pacquiao has difficulty with taking blood and doesn’t want to do it so close to the fight. He, Pacquiao, would only agree to have blood drawn before the kick-off press conference and after the fight.
In that same day,
Freddie Roach: A urine test is just as qualified as a blood test. [Human growth hormone] is not detected by blood or urine.”
How is HGH test done?
More than one blood sample must be taken on different days, due to rapid changing levels of growth hormone. A test measuring IGF-1 levels may be taken in conjunction, as its levels change much slower. Before blood is drawn, the administering health professional should be informed of any disorders or medication being taken which can lead to bleeding at the site of the puncture.
December 23:
Bob Arum: Manny says that taking blood from him really weakens him. And he doesn't want to do it when he's in training, but he'll do it prior to going into training, and after the fight. Every major doctor will tell you that blood testing shows absolutely nothing.
Freddie Roach: For the record, Pacquiao (Remember, he said Pacquiao) is willing to have his blood drawn before he starts training and after the fight to be tested for steroids and performance enhancing drugs. It’s not like Pacquiao is saying no to drugs.
December 24:
Arum: This kid has a phobia for getting his blood drawn.
December 25:
Manny Pacquiao plans to sue Floyd Mayweather, the American's father and Golden Boy Promotions in the next few days following a row over doping procedures, the Filipino world champion said in a statement on Friday.
NYDailyNews. Tim Smith,
This isn't some issue that just came about. It has been a part of the contract negotiations for weeks. According to a source familiar with the talks, Pacquiao's representatives asked what penalties Pacquiao would face if he tested dirty, and also if a dirty test result could be kept secret so that the integrity of the fight wouldn't be ruined in the public eye.
December 26:
Manny Pacquiao: I have offered to give a blood sample the day of the announcement of the fight at the Press Release. I have offered to give a blood sample 30 days before the fight. I am willing to give blood immediately after the fight is over inside my dressing room. I am also willing to give urine tests at anytime any where everyday leading up to the fight. The truth is taking blood out of my body does not seem natural to me and mentally I feel it will weaken me if blood is taken from me just days before the fight.
December 28
Manny Pacquiao: I do not have anything to prove (to them) and hopefully, they would not succeed in destroying my image and the sport of boxing in the way they want it done. They want to dictate and step on the authority of the organizations including the Nevada State Athletic Commission. I am not guilty and I don’t have to prove anything because I have passed all tests in all my previous fights. I will all just see you in court.
December 30:
David Tyler interviews Freddie Roach.
Freddie Roach: HGH cannot be detected by blood, saliva, or urine. The doctors I've talked to said that HGH and any growth harmone cannot be detected by any test.
David Tyler: Fred, I have a graduate's degree in Biochemistry and 30 years experience in developing blood chemistry tests.....I'll leave it alone, let's move foward.
Freddie Roach: No wait, you can't tell me that there is a test that can detect HGH or growth harmones.
David Tyler: Fred, I'm not here to make you mad.
Freddie Roach: I'm not mad, I'm telling you that you are wrong if you think there is a test for HGH.
David Tyler: Ok Fred, so you are saying that HGH cannot be detected by a blood test?
Freddie Roach: Absolutely, 100%, NO! Saliva, blood, or urine.
So, I guess this was all Floyd Sr.'s fault right? I think not.
Men Lie, Women Lie, Quotations don't.
Note: Notice how Roach/ Arum are downgrading blood testing in general.
