Where can Puritans be found today?

You never hear what happened to them after the Salem Witch Trials, do you? =)

Essentially the Puritans rejected strict Calvinism in the 18th century. The lineal descendents of the New England Puritan congregations is The United Church of Christ. This is not to be confused with the various Campbellite Church of Christ denominations in the Midwest and the South.

The Oliver Wendell Holmes poem "The Decon's Masterpiece" (The Wonderful one Horse Shay) is an allegory on the manner in which Calvinism went from Total dominance to rejection almost overnight among Puritans and Presbyterians.
