Aren't the Libs at NBC/30 Rock suppose to be PC/culturally sensitive?
I remember a fried chicken bit on "All in the Family", Archie was chastised by Lionel for making a demographic assumption about fried chicken. 38 years later NBC does this, makes me wonder. Glad Fox News didn't do this, we would be hearing a lot more about it. (By the way, I thought EVERY red-blooded American loves fired chicken so I've never understood the sensitivity of this subject),

WEM - I guess that's my point, sounds to me that "soul food" is country cooking, and as all-American regular peole, it only makes sense that Blacks might like and be good at cooking country food. I'm not sure why this derogatory but if it is, why would NBC not be more PC and would there have been outrage if a Conservative organization had done this (and thinking about that menu is making this decendent of Italians very hungry).
relevant inquiry - good point but determining who is a racist and who isn't does not seem to be very precise (for example any Republican automatically is, but former KKK Kleagle Democrat Senator Robert Byrd is not).
