Can I enter numbers into the keypad on a gas pump so it stops at a certain amount?

Let's say I want exactly 1 gallon so I can take it home and mix in the exact amount of 2-cycle oil for my snowblower. Obviously, I can stand there and shut off the nozzle by myself. Obviously, I can leave the car, go into the building, wait in line, prepay, and tell the clerk to stop it at one gallon or $2.80 but that's not what I am asking. OK? Simple question. Is there an answer?

The computers at most gas pumps aren't that smart. I have never seen one that will allow you to select the gallons of fuel purchased at the pump.

you can either go in and pre pay the amount that you want to put in or let go of the handle of the pump when you have enough gas. those are your options at any place i have ever gotten gas from.

can let off handle at one gallon or whatever you want

one gallon might take longer to get money out of your pocket
