I can't afford a MAC Book PRO right now so that's out of the question, but please i have a budget of 700 or less for the actual laptop. I was thinking about a Sony Vaio, Dell or Toshiba. Please help. Any suggestions would be great!

I would say just do your research on them. Important features you are going to need are going to be a good multi-core processor, and significant amount of RAM (no less that 3GB, preferable more if it has a 64-bit OS), and a decent graphics card (preferably not a base line integrated card). If you follow those requirements, you should be fine and any one of the three brands.

go to bestbuy and buy a $650 Dell with higher end graphics card or more RAM.. that should work
