Most likely they would have installed a keylogger if they were montoring your computer. If you are genuinely concerned, go right through this guide from start to finish:

Bear in mind that although the amount of time you spend on this is only a portion of the time involved, the scans take a while but should find anything that's there. Then if you still want to be completely sure, post a request for your logs to be checked.

Mind you, if it's a keylogger, unless they also set your antivirus program to ignore it, your antivirus program would most likely find it. So if it's easy enough to do, remove your current antivirus program and replace it with another, update and scan. Then you can go back to your old one if you want. AVG, Avast and Avira all do a free one that should pick up a keylogger - just be wary of what AVG picks up if you use that. It might take things that are safe so I recommend one of the others. You can find links to those antivirus programs at Major Geeks main page, under the antivirus category:

it depends on how intelligent in internet security that person was. If they were very very intelligent in the subject then of course they could monitor everything you do on your computer and access every file you have on it. To find them and when you will need to learn a lot about internet security yourself which is difficult and you could find no one was monitoring you afterall. but yes could somebody be monitoring you...absolutely. is it probable...nope
