Actually, you save little to no money. IMHO, the voucher system is only for people who can't or don't want to handle money. Some families want to just not carry money around, or want to just give the vouchers to their kids, so they won't have to worry about kids losing money. In my experience, the voucher system is very limiting, as well as a hassle.
