What Do Jamaicans Think About the Reggae Artist 'Collie Buddz'?

Since he's from bermuda and all, I was wondering if he is widely accepted in the dancehall? I've heard him several times, spun by DJ's, but only in touristy areas.

Collie Buddz has definitely penetrated the Jamaican reggae scene, as he works with producers that are well known within the Jamaican Reggae community. Nowadays it doesn't matter where you're from since Reggae is globally accepted, once you have the authentic reggae sound and your music is accepted by reggae fans, there is a chance that the music made will be accepted in various countries. I say this because there are many non Jamaicans that have penetrated not only the world wide reggae market, but have also made it in Jamaica. Reggae was made by Jamaicans.... and has spread throughout the world. Artists such as Collie Buddz from Bermuda, Gappy Ranks from England, Pressure from the U.S V.I, Gentleman from Germany are some examples of non Jamaicans that have penetrated the Jamaican reggae scene... The list goes on and I can go in more detail. However I just wanted to show the their music is accepted.

Finally di herbs come aroun!!!

Love him! yes he is definitely accepted by Jamaicans.
I have never been to a club or party without ''Mamacita'' being played AT LEAST once for the night.
Just like Gentleman who is from germany. He sings reggae and is also widely accepted and respected here.

As long as they make quality music and are not fake in their representation of Reggae and dancehall music they will be accepted. Its about the music! :)
