jazz recommendations?
for my wedding reception i'd like some smooth jazz playing in the background. vocal jazz or pure instrumental are both fine.
i have some ella, duke, etta, buble and connick jr already...
compilation cds would be fine too

"Smooth", that word is gross to me.
If you want real jazz that is quiet, AND still good, try getting the Dexter Gordon album called Ballads. If you need more music, get the Stan Getz For Lovers collection, and Ben Webster's Soulville album.
If you have any jazz fans at your reception, they might jump out the windows if Kenny G is playing.
