Help with Microsoft Office 2007!!!?

Ok. I have Microsoft Office 2007 trial. I saved alot of my papers to it and now, since the trial is over and I don't have a product key, I cannot get back on it to get to my research paper. If I were top buy Microsoft Office 2007 today, would I be able to get top my old papers? Also, I had to write some things onto Microsoft Workd Word Processor. Would I be ablt to convert those files to Mircosoft 2007 once I buy it? PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thank you sooooooo much!!!

First some quick answers. Yes, getting Office 2007 would give you access to those files. Yes, Word 2007 can read Works Word Processor (.wps) files.

Now here are some of your options for paying less than full price for Microsoft Office 2007:

First, if you're a student, you may qualify for the Ultimate Steal edition of Office at a pretty good price ($59.95):

Second, if you’re interested in buying just Word, check out this URL, especially the second group of listings.

Note that the higher of the two prices quoted is for a full version of that program and the lower, for upgrades from existing software. Read the list of upgrade-qualifying software carefully: MS Works is one.

Also, if you have files that are locked up in the new Word 2007 file format (.docx), here’s a possibility for salvaging them. Microsoft offers a free Compatibility pack that allows earlier versions of Word (and Microsoft Works) to read and write Word 2007 files. If you have access to an earlier version, this can at least give you back your documents. Some new features of Word 2007 will be lost or converted to straight text in the conversion to the earlier version.

Good luck.

Sure, you are only stopped from using the product itself. There is no impact on the files that you produced during the trial. Once you activate Office 2007 you can continue editing your files.

You can actually download the 2007 compatability pack for office 2003 (if you have office 2003) and edit your files that way.

Or, just copy them to a disk and have a friend convert them back to 2003 format.

Some advice, any time you use a trial make sure you always save files in the older version you already have so you don't run into these issues.

You didn't save your papers somewhere else?
1) buy a usb drive- less than $10. Always back up your work.
2) call Microsoft and see if they will help you. If you get access to it- back it up on a usb.

You may have to buy office to get the research back. You may not get it back.

somebody has already provided you with the hyperlink to Open workplace. I rather have been utilising it fo 4 years and have had very few compatibility issues in that factor. I presently have the two MS workplace and OO on my device and, to be honest, use OO around seventy 5% of the time. issues seem somewhat glitch unfastened. And in case you p.c. unfastened stuff, seem on the Mozilla internet site, that can provide a browser (Firefox), that i've got self assurance outperforms IE, and a mail application (Thunderbird), that I rather have had many sturdy comments approximately.
