Was Steve Letarte at the track today?

one would never know it from Gordons pit stops.I thought the object of a pit stop was to improve your car,not fall back

Something is obviously wrong with the 24 team. So it's either Jeff isn't as good as he once was, everyone else around him is better (namely the 48) or Letarte is not the right man to be the crew chief.

So if Jeff going to continue to drive the 24, and the competition is what it is, the thing that cab be changed is the crew chief. Bottom line Jeff is simply not in a position to win the races.

Jeff ran in the top 5 and 10 most of the race. They dropped back to 24th after one pit stop but made it back to the top 10 before getting involved in that wreck. He was coming back toward the top ten again but ran out of laps. Thats not a horrible day.

Yes, he was. He's the crew chief for Jeff Gordon. Where else would he be?
