I'm having surgery that will keep me pretty confined for almost 6 weeks. I'm trying to prepare some meals that my husband can pull out of the freezer and pop in the oven. I've already done lasagna and chicken pot pies. Any other ideas? (He's not a fussy eater at all!)

Freeze those, as well as burgundy beef, beef stroganoff (except for the sour cream, keep that separate), soups (separate the broth from the stuff before freezing), sweet and sour meatballs, and chicken enchiladas (chicken, cream of chicken soup, mild chiles, corn tortillas and cheese), stuffed shells, quiche (already baked, then frozen), and swedish meatballs.
Marinated chicken breasts (dump some italian dressing on them) Put them in a baking dish and then serve with a box of dried au gratin potato. meatloaf does freeze as does mashed potato chili freezes well as does cornbread beef burgundy freezes well, then heat and serve over freshly boiled egg noodles most soups freeze well, like chicken and rice soup, serve with frozen crusty bread
mince and dumplings? lancashire hotpot? irish stew? portions of bolognaise sauce that just need the spaghetti cooked? really thick and healthy soups? (easy to make a sandwich to complete a meal) also, a visit to M&S foods - they sell a great range of very good and economical frozen meals.
