Has anyone ever tye dyed a saddle pad?
I got this white white one when I bought another one and I never use it because it's boring. Do you think I could dye it? Would it be safe for the horse? Would the dye come out easily? Any tips?

What's the saddle pad made out of? Tie-dyes are usually made from garments that are 100% cotton because cotton holds the dyes well. Other fabrics can be tie-dyed but you have to make sure you get the right kind of dye. Here's where I get mine:

Although I never actually did a saddle pad...

i am sure if you use a water based die that will be fine, but insure you wash the saddle pad thoroughly before you put it on your horse.
