No other animals, yes washing bedding and everything, isnt Frontline supposed to make the fleas NOT want to be on the dog?

Are yo appling the Frontline directly on the skin? If not, it wont work. Make sure to NOT wash the dog 48hrs before OR after applying the Frontline. If none of this is working, change to another product. Here, in East Texas the fleas have become 'immune' to Frontline since it's a long used product. The vet clinic I work at, has changed to other products. Also, go to your vet and ask for a Capstar. It will only last for about 24hrs, but it starts to work within 30mis to an hour. It will only kill the adults though, so you should change your flea product. Make sure you get it from your vet, the OTC products don't work well. And one last thing, it does take awhile to get rid of fleas, how long have you been trying to get rid of them? Remember, Frontline will NOT repel fleas, it will only kill one if it bites the dog. It takes awhile to get rid of fleas, becuase of the eggs. They are hard to kill, and fleas LOVE to reproduce. SO i'd suggest waiting for a couple of months, then you SHOULD see a decrease or no more fleas at all. Hope this helped. God Bless!

This is directly from the Frontline website:

"Why am I seeing more fleas on my pet after applying a FRONTLINE Brand Product?
After the application of a FRONTLINE Brand Product, you may see more fleas, but this is an indication that the FRONTLINE Brand Product is working. FRONTLINE Brand Products make fleas hyperexcited, drawing them to the top of the haircoat before dying. This will make them more visible to you.

I treated my pet with a FRONTLINE Brand Product, but I still see fleas in my home. Why?
The fleas you see most likely started as flea eggs that were deposited in the environment before you began using FRONTLINE Brand Products. Consecutive monthly applications of a FRONTLINE Brand Product to your pet will assist with the elimination of an indoor flea life cycle. In some geographical regions in the United States, it may be required to use the product year-round."

Then there are always your alternatives such as Advantage and K9 Advantix.

So, I would give it another month. It could be that the fleas have become resistant to the Frontline. Another thing to consider is spraying your yard. Maybe confine the dog to a small area for a few hours while you clean EVERYTHING one more time. You can also try to take her to the groomer for a flea dip, wait a few days, then apply the next dose of Frontline...but not until it is time of course.

Having fleas stinks! For humans and dogs alike! I hope something works for you...and soon!

I've been using frontline on my dog for almost 8 years for fleas and ticks and it works great. couple things to remember. Your pet should not get wet for 72 hours before or after you apply it. If you are still having a flea problem, try the frontline plus until all the fleas have been exterminated from your house. The Frontline plus kills the eggs. I've never had a flea prblem ever.It works great on ticks too. They're alittle tougher, it takes about 24 hrs to kill the ticks.

I just had a big discussion with my vet about his a couple of days ago. We get ticks where I live so I need a medication that can deal with ticks as well as fleas, but I've noticed that Frontline is not that great with fleas. He actually said when he gets done selling the last of the Frontline he has, he won't stock it anymore (for dogs---unfortunately, Frontline is the only tick medication for cats). I LOVED advantage for fleas, but it doesn't kill ticks. He said Advantix is the best. So I'll be giving that a try next.

Try a round of Capstar. Also, consider changing to Advantage or Revolution.
