Are you talking about institutional scholarships that your school awards you, or "outside" ones that you bring to the school, or both? Any outside scholarships are supposed to be reported to the financial aid office.

Once your are billed and all your financial aid is applied to what you owe. Anything overages are refunded to you to use toward any of your college expenses (room/board, books, etc.).

Good luck!

Yes, you can. :)

All of my son's tuition as well as room and board was paid with scholarships. He even got money back to use for his sophomore year. (the school sent him a check which we saved for him)

Most are awarded monthly and some don't even require essays they even have a cash giveaway for spring break(or whatever you want).
