i keep dreaming i am topless in public?

Question

i have heard of the age old dream of being naked in public, but topless? lol every few days i dream i am doing normal things like picking up my niece from gymnastics or grocery shopping or going to work and i look down and im not wearing anything from the waist up, then i scramble around looking for a cover and hope no one notices.... last night i dreamed i was topless at a restaurant and i found a shirt on the ground, put it on and then was accused of stealing it from a bum and had to give it back, there i was, topless again... does anyone believe in dream decoding? or have one of those dream dictionarys? what does it mean?

i dont think i am insecure about my body my fiance and i are very comfortable being naked at home, these are always very public places, like a park or driving down the interstate, and i dream them all the time so it really has me wondering if there is any truth to dream decoding and if so, then what does it mean?

It means you are afraid of people seeing you as you really are. You feel exposed and open to prying eyes. This is common to younger people who are coming into adulthood. The more you become comfortable with yourself the less these types of dreams occur.  I used to have them too. I am 54 now and haven't had one of these dreams in 20 years.
Don't worry.  You are far from being alone in having this type of dream.

An friend of mine once told me of a dream she had about an elephant being in a tree in her garden. She said she tried to get it down with a stick as she was cross that it was there.
It sounds like an anxiety dream in which you are hiding something that you are afraid might be exposed! ha ha
Do you have insecurities about your body/breasts? Something like that kind of exposure would be pretty mortifying, perhaps you are more sensitive to the idea than most? I'm just speculating here as I am no expert

To dream that you are naked, denotes the fear of being found out and exposed about your activities and misjudgment. 

To dream that you suddenly discover your nudity and are trying to cover up, signifies your vulnerability to a situation.
