my husband and i are looking into buying a new car, and i have heard that a kia is a very nice car.but i know that kia is a foreign company but they do make them here. my husband will only buy an american made car (i really don't care, a car's a car) well since they put the car together hear, are the parts made here too? because that would make it american made.

KIA is a Korean auto manufacturer, and owned by the Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group, which is the 4th largest automobile manufacturing company in the world. They opened their first American manufacturing plant in Georgia about a year ago.

Your husband does know that American build quality has essentially gone down the drain right? I mean, an American somewhere along the line was the cause of the major Toyota/Lexus recall on pretty much all of their line-up.
Many car manufacturers have assembly plants all over the world, Kia is no exception. So yes, the USDM market cars would be assembled in America. But for the love of God why do you want a Kia?
