im saving up for an ipod because i recently lost mine. so far i have $21 from selling some of my clothes i don't need. but i was wondering how the heck can a 13 year old make some money. btw my parents are on this budget thing so my family can save up to go on vacation so its not like they'll give me the money.

I am a 14 year old so i would know. Well first of all there is allowance, if you don't get allowance then ask your parents if you could start getting allowance if you do chores because it's just fair that way. You can also apply for small jobs like delivering newspaper, im sure your old enough for a job like that, they'll accept 13 year olds. If none of those work then you could have like a yard sale where you sell your unwanted things, or you could even sell it online, on ebay..also if anyone asks you what you want for a gift for your birthday or christmas then you have to say ''money'' it takes guts but if you want money thats what you have to do. Baby sit, ask for an allowence if u do chores around the house, u cant get a job yet so just save up ur money and get simple jobs like mowing lawns and selling more stuff

Offer to do chores for the neighbors, maybe try recycling but that doesn't seem to pay much anymore, possibly see if your parents can give you an allowance. That's the best I can think of since you are still a bit too young for a real job.

The only way I was able to make money before getting an actual job was doing yard work. It sucks, but you get exercise and sun and money.
P.S. Get a Zune, its cheaper and the software is easier to use. Unless you're addicted to apps other than facebook or twitter.
