which lock is better protection for your car: a brake lock or a wheel/brake lock combo?

If a thief really wanted your car, neither one would slow them down much. Any metal can be cut through in seconds with the proper tool.

The funny thing is I see most of those theft protection devices on cars that nobody would want to steal. I guess to their owners those things work great (nobody tried to steal their car).

Best would be something not readily apparent to immobilize it and make them waste time, get nervous, and give up trying. My brother had something rigged up so you had to press the horn button in order for the starter to work. But the last thing a thief would want to do is draw attention to themselves, so they are not likely to even try that.

Either one is useless.
