I really like the sound of this song, but I don't speak Russian (that's what I think the language is, anyway) and have no idea what the song is, who it's by, or even what it's about.
Does anyone know the name and who it's by? And if you happen to know the language, what is the song about?

Yes, it's Russian.
Чешир = Cheshire (as in Cheshire cat)
Шляпник = Hatter (as in Mad Hatter)
Садо-мазо = sadomasochistic
I don't know all of the words, but it's about Alice in Wonderland. I gather that it's about their mad relationship, they're a bit sadistic and weird. I like the song too. =)

You probably saw that it has video from the Alice in Wonderland movie with Johnny Depp, and you can see the Cheshire cat & the Mad Hatter.
The song is in Russian but I have no idea who's performing it. There are a few songs with that title Sado-Mazo, but nothing that is this one. Sado-Mazo is Sadomasochism.
According to the text at the start of the video, it's " the tale of the IOM" which is the Russian Federation. A political comment. Which kinda makes sense reading Malika's answer.
