WTF! I just found out Peter Steele (Type O Negative) died yesterday?
This is the worst news ever. Type O Negative is my favorite band. Life is Killing is my favorite album. I was lucky to see Type O Negative in 2003, in San Francisco, when they toured with Cradle of Filth. I was hoping to hear a new album from them this year, but I guess that will never happen, :(
What are your favorite Type O song, albums, moments whatever
I'm dedicating their song "Halloween in Heaven" to Pete http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/news/Remembering-Peter-Steele-1962--2010-21220.aspx

Yes, I'm kind of sad because of that. Type.. isn't my favorite band, but I know the importance of the band in the Heavy Metal scene. I'm sorry for you, I don't want not even think in the death of my favorite musician.
confident, Peter Steele is unquestionably lifeless. i found out the information this morning and that i can't end crying. i be attentive to human beings who knew Peter and that i even have met Peter..and that i can't have faith he's long previous. as quickly as I met him back in October he grew to become into so energetic and happy and his well-being grew to become into appreciably extra ideal after quitting drugs and alcohol yet i think of he regrettably did no longer supply up quickly adequate. He died the day ahead of this of coronary heart failure and it relatively is shown by using Kenny Hickey, the guitarist as nicely as a gaggle of bands that have been close with style O and likewise Jeremy Skoorka aka Slitzy, who you spot interior the style O dvds, he's style of a superb buddy to style O.
I have no favorites, all of Type O's songs were the best. Creepy Green Light, Wolf Moon, I could never get tired of any of them. I'm still shocked. I put Type O negative in my wedding vows to my husband.
