In order for me to view my family tree I need to download Excel. I went to download it but it says it wants to change stuff on my computer and it wants to put a new toolbar on my computer. Should I download Excel or not? Thanks for any answers you may give me.

Be careful - this sounds like a hacked or fake version of Excel. The real Excel from Microsoft isn't going to put toolbars or other junk on your PC.
Instead, do one of these:
Download a 60-day trial version of the real Excel at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/default.aspx
Download the free software OpenOffice at www.openoffice.org, it has a spreadsheet program that works just like Excel and can open Excel files.

If it's a legit Excel download ( as in you're downloading it from Microsoft) it'll be fine.
Otherwise it could contain some sort of virus. But if it doesn't have a virus or anything, it's perfectly safe to use

No you should not add random people to your buddy list, and therefore chat with people you do not know. It could lead to undesirable people having your email address as well as getting in contact with you, when they're someone you don't want to correspond with.

you cant just download excel, you have to buy it. If it says its free, then I would say its fake.
