Boy, oh boy, it's been a rough series. The way this team has played the last several days has disgusted me. I'm hoping it's just a rut they're in, because we saw them play very well for a few games with these same players, so we know they're perfectly capable of scoring runs & winning games. It's hard to be positive.. I mean they're like 0-for-30 with RISP since Game 2 of the series in Minnesota, and since that Hermida double in that game they have yet to even lead at any point in any game. Terrible defense with error after error, bats are completely dead. Yep, definitely not a whole lot to be optimistic about right now. Oh well. Hopefully they move forward after this disastrous series and just look ahead to be better next time. Lackey was terrible today but the good thing is, he's the kind of guy will take in the loss and use it to work even harder next time. It'll be sure to fire him up for his next outing. If the rest of the team is able to do that as well, that'll be great. Hope it happens.
