I just got my wisdom teeth out and got antibiotics. I am also taking yaz. I am not taking it for actual birth control, as I am not sexually active, but I wanted to know if it would maybe make me start my period at the wrong time, since it is said to interact?

Taking antibiotics won't effect your periods while on the pill.
They didn't effect my periods while I was on the pill.

I am not 100% sure, but i don't think it is unsafe. I have taken antibiotics while on the patch and it is not harmful. Also if your doctor was the one who perscriben the antibiotic it should be ok. Just don't take any other medications while on the yeast infection (besides the antibiotic and birth control)
