Is this good for a kids golf score?

I am wondering what would be considered good for a kids golf score at age 11. I scored mid 50s when I golf at my local golf course on 9 holes on the red tees. Also tips would also help cause I can not hit very longs shots such as my drives are around 100 to 150 yards though they are straight.

i'd take 150 straight over 230 in a hazard . Compare that with other kids in your area you may find your on par for your age . My nephew is 8 and shoots high sixties on 9 holes , so mid fifties isn't terrible . But then again get some other kids to play with and see what they are shooting . as far as driving tips don't worry , your 150 straight will get longer as you grow just keep swinging true and straight the distance willl develope over time . If you really want lower scores keep better track of your rounds . Instead of writing a "6" break it up into pitches chips and putts , also make note of things like being in the sand out of bounds water ect. and putts . Also note good things like fairway drives , greens in regulation , and sand saves .When you see a 55 but you had 2 out of bounds and two shots per sand trap you will instantly see areas that need improvement . if you can eliminate those unnecessary strokes you could be mid fourties by the end of summer. For me its chipping and putting . I have worked diligently to get on in one chip and no more than two putts . before it was 2-3 chips and 4 putts . But you gotta track those things to know where you need more practice . Good Luck
