Liberal/Blue State cities? That works out to 80% and of the top 25 most polluted it looks like 17 are are cities in Liberal states (72%). And don't say because they are in sunny places like L.A., Pittsburgh is in the top 5 (New York and Philly are in the top 25) and no cities in Florida are in the top 25, it's because of cars, not sunny places.
I thought the Libs were concerned about the environment, if they really cared, wouldn't they all stop using cars and unnecessary use of electricity (since most electricity is generated using coal)?
Stanleys, I forgot about our Liberal leader's use of planes, apparently Obama and Biden both flew to New York City two planes to celebrate earth day, I guess there were no earth day celebrations in the DC area.

Liberals really don't care about the environment - they are interested in LEVERAGING the "crisis" to get more power and money.
Cap & Trade is a MASSIVE TAX INCREASE which extracts and extorts money at every level - based on a IMAGINARY UNIT... called the FOOTPRINT.
Pelosi - flies from CA to DC a few times a month at the cost of $40,000 per trip (one way) in a BIGGER plane we bought her because her Boeing 727 wasn't bug enough - rather than flying commercial at a cost of $500.00 - and creating the SAME FOOTPRINT of 18,000 cars an hour.
Do you think THIS makes an impression on her? (Hint: It's a two letter word, which rhymes with "go")
There was an article on Earth Day about just how polluting things like the Internet, hybrid cars, bio-fuel, etc. really are. It seemed that the message of the article was that cutting way back on driving and energy use is the only solution. But around here (Maryland), the rich Libs (2/3rds of all Marylanders are Democrats) the roads are clogged with SUVs (with Obama/Biden stickers) and hybrids (with Obama Biden stickers). There are traffic jams even on weekends, even though there is a highly developed public transportation system. They all seems to want other people to cut back or be inconvenienced by conserving energy.
Oh lord...who cares. Red states have the highest concentration of welfare recipients, and I thought Republicans were concerned about getting people off welfare. We can go back and forth all day over this but in the end, using these statistics to try to correlate with Lib/con is just a useless comparison and has no real basis in politics.
More people means more pollution. It's as simple as that. If you needed a study to learn that, I only have one question for you. Who read the results of the study to you?
@mike, Interesting, So a conservative city of 200,000 can pollute more the a liberal city of over 8,000,000. Maybe instead of addressing that to me, you should point that out to Yo it's me.
