A romantic dinner date is a really special and different. Suggest that he take her to a place that they would not normally go to on a regular day. It's extra special for a woman when you are required to dress fancy. That way we have an excuse to get all dressed up and it benefits the husband as well. He should get a dozen red roses, anniversary card, and take her to a candle light dinner. Sometimes material things are just that....material things. Woman like when a man really plans something special and has put thought into his gift. Tell you friend good luck and that will win her over for sure.

He can go to to the library, get a copy of the front page of the paper from the day they were married and frame it. This only works if there wasn't a big murder or child porn investigation on the day they were married.
