1970 Party-Where can I find decorations?

Hello, I'm throwing my sister a 40th birthday party for the year she was born-1970, I've only been able to find disco party supplies but 1970 (as far as I know) wasn't really disco yet, any ideas on what I can do or where I can find some supplies?
