I've asked about a billion similar questions, but I want to know: What is a good laptop under $850 that could run The Sims 3 on max detail smoothly? Thanks.
Will an Inspiron run it? Someone told me it wouldn't.

Try the Acer Aspire AS5740G-6979 - it's got a Core i5 CPU & an HD 5650 graphics card. Newegg had it for $700. The 5650 is sometimes called a mid-range card, but the combination w/the Core i5 should give you a good (not great) gaming experience.

There is plenty of laptops with 4GB ram and good graphics out there for under $850 try Packard Bell EasyNote TJ68
