My friend in California must have scraped another car in a parking lot yesterday. We noticed the small streak on my fender last night, she doesn't remember hitting anything and isn't sure what or when it happened. So should we just let it go?

Its pointless to know that after it you can do nothing. Relationship is the most expensive thing in this world and it is even more expensive than your scraped paint in the parking lot. If you know and you do nothing, there's an anger or hatred inside you. So, let it go and charge it to bad experience. Move forward.

You have no choice but to let it go if you do not know where it happened or what happened. And, you don't even know if someone scraped your car or if you scrapped someone else.
If its true you have no knowledge of what happened then let it go.
