How to reset registration of softwares to the earlier,free or free trial?

How to reset registration of softwares to the earlier,free or free trial?
Some softwares have free version and registered version.
Once the registration,activation license key in entered, it becomes registered one.
Now if this version is uninstalled and re-installed to have only a free or free trial,it shows registered with the same user name,key etc.
I tried all registry clean up tools like regcure,registry mechanic,registry easy etc. And also editing reg keys via regedit.exe.
But I don't know the exact process to delete and clear registration info completely. I mean a general,common procedure,process that applies to all soft-appz.
Pls suggest me the process,details, step-by-step.

they either have a hidden registry key or a hidden .dll with the details in, so even if you save a clean copy of the registry and import it that still may not work

You can't do it. It is registred with there Servers and you can't access them. These people have been doing this for many years and have seen every trick in the book, you have to buy it now.
