Brad Friedel retired from International soccer to prolong his professional career. That is why he is no longer on the US National Team.

IDK about that I love Tim Howard he is the man but I don't want to see him at a big club, I want him to stay at everton, he just fits their. and where would he play He wont start at Inter, Barca or Real, Chelsea or Man U.
Arsenal an AC Milan might be clubs to go to but I just really like him at Everton its such a good mesh for him and he always says how much he loves everton an playing there an i hope he just stays there.
Tim is one of the best goalkeepers of the world and second best in the Americas. Top 5? Maybe not, but top 10, yes. Be in a better team? Yes. Is he trying to cover up his ignorant comments he made about U.S. socccer? Who knows, maybe.
I would love Howard in Milan. We need a good goalkeeper soon. Dida and Abiatti had a bad season.
he's a good height, has great reflexes, is almost always in the right position... i donno, what more do you want? the biggest separation between the top 10 or so keepers by my eyes is reputation. is he top 5? if he plays the rest of the cup like he did saturday, than he will probably be considered top 5 instead of top 10. of course, nothing would actually change but his reputation.
