How to make songs on microsd my ringtone on samsung freeform?

I have the samsung freeform/link and just got a micro sd card for it. I can transfer ringtones that have been downloaded onto the sd card, but I can only access it on the phone to play it as a song and not as a ringtone. Please help!

a lot of people have been mentioning ventones, or other such websites -- thing is I dont have internet capability on my phone. Im just tryin to do this the old fashion way, when u would save something on the phone, and through settings -- magically set a song as a ringtone... -- and no im not with metropcs, im with virgin mobile -- again, no internet

If none of whatever the other people said works...if the ringtone file is small enough you could try sending it from your phone to yourself as a message and then saving it as a ringtone then

Go on a site called www.myxer.com
It's a ringtone site that is free , as long as you have internet, which you should because you have MetroPCS :)
