Depending what your expectations are of where you live:
A few reasons it is good:
1. The office area is usually always kept up and looking nice.
2. Anything that is done by your neighbors that shouldn't be can be seen first hand by the office ie: trash thrown on the grounds, cigarette butts thrown on the ground (excessively), Rule violations ie: trash cans on the patio, cars of guests parked in your spot.......
3. LOL during snow....your place usually is one of the first areas to be cleared since it is by the office.
If you think about it, there are alot of reasons it could be good. Unless you are someone who doesn't care or are a rule breaker....then it might not be a good thing.
