Why can't theists realize that "God" has no religion?

Ask yourselves Why would a (supreme, everlasting, omnipotent, ever-present being); who is powerful enough to create and destroy everything "need" ......

Worship, sacrifice, prayers, praise, thanksgiving, etc?

No, what I am saying/asking is this : logically looking at a being, as described by most religions. if that being is as powerful as scriptures say - it only makes sense that 'he' would not have any human characteristics.

You are absolutely correct that God does not have a religion; if someone says that God is having a religion, he is a super duper idiot.

Surely God does not "need" worship, sacrifice, prayers, praise etc. But we do it out of our gratitude for giving us life and a chance to live on earth. Unless he had caused, we would not have born and would not have seen this world. Hence we love, worship and thank him for everything he has bestowed upon us; do you think it is bad to remain thankful to the giver of our life.

But what God wants from us is very clearly taught by Jesus; loving each other. That is the only thing God asks us and we should do it by all means.

Are you presuming to say what God needs/requires?!

In the Bible He is very specific about worship He approves and worship that is unacceptable however sincerely given.

The thing that created us does not know we call it god and worship it. It does not care because it cannot feel, it has moved on creating more stuff.
