yep, i think it will be legal, but you will have better luck with bills and all of that to wait until one of you is 18, and all of you have jobs....
if I were you I'd live at home with your parents as long as possible, trust me, go to college before you move out

What about it feels right? seriously? This is a bit ridiculous don't you think? Are you even considering the idea? The guy is 16? he is not even 18 yet and I assume you will both be trying to pay rent... I don't think a 16 year old is emotionally. financially and mentally mature for such a huge step. Think about this. Its a different thing when he's just a friend and you are just roomates. But moving in with a 16 year old BF is a BAD IDEA!

No, it's not legal. You have to have an adult supervising you, even if your parents consent, unless you are all emancipated or you are away at college. You need to do a lot of growing up and unless your parents are abusive or seriously neglecting your basic needs, you have no reason to move out. If you do, you can be arrested and put in juvy or even jail. Besides, you would have to support yourselves while going to school.

Wait until you are 18. Do some volunteer work in the meantime so you have good reason to leave the house. Or spend a bunch of time in your room studying and make something of yourself.

You can sign a lease at that age, but no landlord would rent to you. Minors can sign contracts for food, shelter, clothing, but nothing else.

It's only legal if you all have your parents' approval. Unless you live in Texas or Missouri you have to be 18 to move out. In Texas and Missouri you can legally move out at 17. If you move out without your parents permission, your parents can call the police and have you returned home. If you continue running away you can be locked in a juvenile detention center.

Also, you can't sign any leases with apartment complexes, so you'll have to find a cosigner to sign your lease if an apartment complex is willing tot ake on your liability.

I don't think it is legal, but it is very dumb.

Who's going to pay your health insurance? your vehicle insurance? who's going to buy the vehicle?
How are you going to work and go to school?
Who's going to buy the food? Pay the electricity? the rent? The water? Where will you get the furniture?
Will you pass a credit check for an apartment?
