Why do I get notices for already 'resolved' question ?

I have plenty of mail notifying me about 'new questions' which are in fact old and 'resolved'
Do you have the same problem ?

No ssammiee, these notices are about questions which have been 'resolved' for some days at least and for which I already got notices in the past when they where asked. These are re-sent notices actually.

I have even got a notice to tell me about a 'new question' for which I had gotten the BA !! (and of course I had been noticed for the BA)

It's because these notices are about questions your friend asks. Y!A has a delay between when something happens on the website and when you receive an email about it.

When you get an email about me answering this question, you will probably get it at least 15 minutes after I answered...

You're getting emails about something that happened a while ago, and then when you go to answer the question, the user has already picked a best answer - because there has been long enough between them asking and you finding out they asked - and so you can't answer it anymore.

Hope this helps :)
