How do I put my Ventones onto my Samsung Rant?

It won't let me download them from a message so, I am trying to put it on my phone by connecting to the computer. When I do all of that and find the memory card, I'm not sure what Ventones means when it says to copy and paste the file. I tried using the embedded file but it makes a folder that doesn't work. Well, once I make it and I go through the process, the ringtone opens with Windows Media Player. Then, I can't find it on my desktop for some reason. Help please!

really depends on the carrier because some providers have different ways of doing things. what carrier are you with?
