Gun Rights Groups Are Wary Of Sotomayor

Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, said on Wednesday that "Judge Sotomayor's position on the Second Amendment is a clear signal that Mr. Obama's claim that he supports gun rights is nothing but lip service."

Dave Kopel of the free-market Independence Institute predicts that "Judge Sotomayor's record suggests hostility, rather than empathy, for the tens of millions of Americans who exercise their right to keep and bear arms." And Ken Blackwell of the Family Research Council believes her nomination amounts to "a declaration of war against America's gun owners."

Sessions said Kagan, who was the law school dean, sought to treat the military as second class by denying recruiters access to the campus Office of Career Services and instead requiring them to use the veterans services office.

"We were trying to ensure that military recruiters had full and complete access to our students, but we also were trying to protect our anti-discrimination policy," she said, explaining recruiters still had access to students through the separate office.

Pressed by Sessions, Kagan said, "I do oppose 'don't ask, don't tell.'" Sessions cut her off, saying, "And you did then."

"And I did then," Kagan said.

She denies hating the Military , yet when at Harvard admitted it.

kagan believes the constitution changes over time,with that attitude she should be kept off the bench. since words have meanings and those meanings don't change,unless your a liberal . she disagrees with so many past  decisions,she has same background of far left like obama and emanuel and the likes,don't let her fool you with her chuckles,she is evil and the republicans would be wise to keep her off the court

The progressive agenda has always been to subvert the power and purpose of the Constitution. Obama, Sotomayor and Kagan are all progressives that have sought positions that gives them the power to do just that.
Kagan has been elusive on answering questions and attempted to change the meaning of what she has already done and said in the past. These people seek power at any cost and will stop at nothing to gain that power including lying.
She is attempting to cover up who she really is to gain a position on the Supreme Court. Had she been in the court on the second amendment hearing, the Constitution would have not been upheld and the decision would have taken away citizens rights for local and federal controls. If she is confirmed, the first and second amendments are both in danger. She has commented on the first also.

The job of the SC is to interpret the Constitution - whether you like the result or not.  The point is not to pack the Court with ringers who always make the decision you want is it?
