do electronic pest control devices work?

i have read a lot of questions and answers on this site about this very subject and i would have to say 90% of all people say the products are useless. but then there are some who swear by them and have for years. when i was younger i worked with a guy who used them and it worked wonders. the problems i am having are spiders, centipedes, ants, and "rollie pollies", but not mice or rats. i spray like crazy but nothing works, i have seen government action on the ineffectiveness of this product but personal experience that they do work. i realize the huge flaw in design is that roaches are attracted to the magnetism.

MQ: have you ever used electronic pest control? did it work? what brand/kind did/do you use?
BQ: what would you suggest besides EPC?

Well I for one think those things are useless.I had one and a spider was sitting right on top of the thing.I thrown it away and got instead some surface spray which you need to spray all over the house. It lasts for up to 6 month. That finally got rid of the critters.
Maybe you have better luck in finding one that works.

I have one, not sure the name, but it does let me know if a mouse is in the house by beeping. I still get the normal spiders and all, so not sure if it works for insects. I don't get much mice in the house, maybe one in 2 years. I'm going to say it is worth a try.

They are GREAT for taking your money.

The only things that work are persistence and diligence.
