Social Distortion just announced a show near my hometown and I'm really excited to go to a show put on by such pioneers in my favorite music genre. Ive heard a few of their songs, and I just wanted your opinions on which albums I should listen to.

mommys little monster and the self titled

they dont play it live too much, but their 1983 album mommys little monster is good to know to see how SD entered the punk scene.
when most people think of social d though, they think of the 1990 self titled album, which had songs like story of my life and ball & chain. the album had a much stronger southern country influence.
youll definitely be hearing new stuff though since they have a new drummer.
