Does anyone here think Mel Gibson is a bigot? Was he just going off emotionally?

Do you think he really hates Jews and African-Americans and other minorities, or does he just have to put his anger at his girlfriend somewhere outside of himself? Should people who disagree with his rants boycott his films and personal appearances?

I think he's a bigot. I mean, even if he was mad at her, why did he have to go that far and talk about African-Americans and Jewish people for? Whatever was going on was between him and his wife, and racial slurs did not need to be involved. Also, from what i've heard he could possibly have beaten her up, and i don't support racists or woman beaters.

I've never been a fan of him, so no, i won't go see any of his films unless it's something i seriously want to see starring one of my favorite actors/actresses, because i won't be going just because it's a Mel Gibson movie.

I don't know if he is a racist or not but he surely needs to maintain and improve his ugly behavior. I think he is a great actor though and would still watch his movies. I hope that from inside he is a decent guy and it's just the alcohol dominating him.

He sounds like a bigot, but who know what is really in his heart. I believe he is an alcoholic, and the rage was alcohol induced. He is mostly angry that he is not happy with his life.

possibly he IS, but, WHO really cares ? tabloid trash. The woman was probably a gold digger, and he had it coming anyway... they deserve each other, and the judge ought to just leave them to their own devices in the long run.

Don't know. Don't care. Refuse to watch his movies though.
