Has anyone else noticed?

that Eve was not yet created when God gave Adam the directive about the tree of knowledge of good and evil? I wonder what the lesson is here. Any ideas?

She KNEW that she shouldn't eat it.

She said so herself, ""We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"

So... I'm not sure what lesson there is to learn because even if God gave Adam the directive before she was created, Eve knew of the directive, too.

The common answer to this would be that the greater responsibility fell upon Adam not Eve. If you go back and read it in it's entirety you will find that God called Adam out not Eve and when he gave out the judgments, he gave it to Adam first.

There seem to be quite a few people on yahoo!answers who have a hard time dealing with Adam & Eve's descendants. Let me help you. First, they did not just have two sons. 3 sons are names specifically but Genesis 5:4 says they had sons and daughters even after the 3rd son was born. A little reading goes a long way my friends. Exposing ignorance one question at a time.

Adam told her when she was created, because she replied to the serpent: Genesis 3: 2 At this the woman said to the serpent: "Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. 3 But as for [eating ] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said: ' You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it that you do not die."
4 At this the serpent said to the woman: " You positively will not die. [ and yet she Did Die] Genesis 3: 6 b states: Afterward she gave some also to her husband when with her and he began eating it. So, Adam was not with her when the serpent, Satan deceived her.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

She knew that she shouldn't eat it. I don't see anything significant for a lesson.

How did Adam and Eve have grandchildren if they only had 2 boys, Cane and Able.
Its' back to the drawing boards, for the Christians, on this one.
