Step 1

I have Norton 360 and it didn't pick this one up (which my daughter unwittingly introduced by responding to an MSN message from a known contact asking if a pic in a link to myspace was her). Nor did it pick it up when i ran a full scan.
I got rid of it via majorgeeks.com where there is a fairly lengthy procedure for removing malware which is ok for a non-techie like me to follow. You have to stick with it though and do everything, including some system prep and the installation of several spy/malware removal apps.
It worked a treat and was well worth the effort; those guys are GOOD. Here's the link:
