What clothes should I take for vacation in Bavaria Germany next week?

My family and I are going to visit my husband's adult children whom I have never met. My husband is retired army. We are middle class. I am 48 years old and not athletic. I have been told there will be a lot of walking. What should I pack to wear? We will be leaving August first and staying about 2 weeks. Any fashion help would be appreciated. I have never been outside of the USA.

Its nice and warm over here so you wont need a winter coat.
Dress casual, Europe is full of a diverse range of people so wear what you would for a vacation in America. If your planning a lot of walking a pair of runners is a must.
