If a society makes us what we are, what are we?
Why do we all treat people with suspicion, indifference, and sometimes downright hate? Does this mean there is something rotten in our society? If so, how do we get rid of it?

Whoa, speak for yourself when you say "we all treat people [badly]". I don't go around doing that. Do you?
If there's anything rotten in our society (at least the U.S.) it's our politicians who are poisoning us with overhyped, bogus "issues" that anybody who doesn't agree with us is "destroying our nation". All for the purposes of winning THEM an election.

society or outside force does not make you what or who you are. you, the human being, are the author of your life and self. you have the freedom to say no or yes only if you are human.

Societies can't deal with multiculturalism. People will complain till the day they die.
